Our Ingredients

We care about our ingredients more than anything else. We are proud of them and will never compromise or cut corners.

At Slava Cake Company, an elevated dessert culture means cake that is just as nourishing to the body as it is delightful to taste.

  • Eggs are our most-used ingredient. We source our pasture-raised eggs from local Holleman Farms. Produced by hens raised as nature intended, these eggs are considered a “complete food” as they contain almost every nutrient necessary for the human body.

  • Organic raw cane sugar is produced sustainably and unrefined so that it retains minerals, vitamins, and amino acids from the sugar cane.

  • Our grass-fed butter, cream, and milk are high-quality and bioavailable sources of protein to feed your muscles and saturated fat to feed your brain.

  • The baking chocolate we use is just 3 ingredients (organic cocoa butter, organic cane sugar, and organic chocolate liquor). It is high in antioxidants and free of lecithins, preservatives, and other additives.

  • Walnuts are typically the flour base of our cakes (rendering most of them naturally gluten free). Walnuts are high in antioxidants and omega-3’s.

  • Occasionally our cakes will use small amounts of flour. We use a wheat flour imported from Europe to avoid glyphosate.

  • The coffee we use in our delectable frostings is from local White Rock Coffee.

  • High quality extracts are a must-have for bringing out the full flavor of our high quality ingredients. That’s why we choose to source small batch vanilla extracts locally from Howell Extracts!
